Golf del Sur opened in 1987 and has since been the venue for a number of PGA European Tour Events. Other Tournaments such as the Tenerife Open and The Shell World Golf Series have also graced its greens.
 
The Course is a 27 hole par 72 and is the centerpiece of the Golf del Sur Development. Designed by Pepe Gancedo who has expertly brought together tropical lush vegetation and stunning black volcanic sand bunkers. Mixing a tropical paradise with the natural aridity of Tenerife's South Coast.
 
This variable 27 hole course with it's South, North and Links layout has all three returning to the Clubhouse. The scratch and handicap golfers alike are offered a unique opportunity to test their skills. With it's wide fairways and black volcanic sand bunkers it offers all customers an unforgettable experience.
 
The challenge from some of the difficult shots will call for precision and the Pencross greens are fast. The beginner will gain much from the practice greens of this links course, which coupled with the teaching skills of the international standard coaches will leave you with good memories of your time spent on Golf del Sur.
