Abama Golf is part of a luxury Abama Gran Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa Complex in the south-west of the island Tenerife. The course offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and the La Gomera Island. It was designed by golf legend Dave Thomas (San Roque Golf Club, The Belfry, etc.).

The 18 holes, 6857 yds, Par 72with 22 lakes and over 25,000 palm trees bunkers of marble sand and immense greens an enjoyable challenge on its varied terrain. This amazing golf course reaches a low point of 78 metres above sea level and reaches a staggering high point of 315 metres.

The course has a Clubhouse, three-hole practice course, Pro shop, Golf Academy, amazing driving range. All green fees hare come with GPS buggy.  A further nine holes still to be built for a total of twenty-seven.
The Abama open De Canaries was held on the 6th October 2005, this is a European Tour event and is a staggering achievement for such a young course.
